Meet the people who make it all possible:
Debbie Miller – Owner and Director of Business Development
A resident of Lynchburg for the past 25 years, Debbie Miller is our fearless leader with huge vision for the future of Doyle’s. With an extensive background in sales and management and a passion for people and flowers, she is always aiming to keep Doyle’s cutting edge and able to appease the many styles of our broad clientele. Debbie’s experience has included a director position with Creative Memories, a publisher and owner of Central Virginia Bridal Guide and an owner of Celebration Bridal & Formal. Now, in the world of flowers, she is honored to carry on the Doyle’s legacy.
Leslie Rocco – Finances and Administration
An east coast native, Leslie graduated from Penn State with a degree in Finance. As our bookkeeper, she keeps us accountable by reminding us to save scrap paper and pick up the paper clips from the floor. Leslie manages customer accounts, maintains the finances, keeps the books, works on computer quirks and anything else that needs to be done. Just don’t ask her to design a floral arrangement, that’s where she draws the line, but she will happily point you in the right direction!
Inez Lewis – Lead Designer and Sympathy Arrangement Specialist
Inez has been a designer for almost 40 years and has been with Doyle’s since 1985. She is well known around the Lynchburg area for her talent with Sympathy design and she goes out of her way to make sure your order is over the top. With a vast skill set, Inez can help you with a vase arrangement, casket sprays, a silk creation, something for the cemetery or a perfectly formed bow.
Karen Edwards – Floral Designer specializing in Events and Weddings
A world-traveler, Karen brings a great deal of experience to Doyle’s. She has 40 years in the industry and has worked in several shops in various parts of the country. If you have a unique design need, Karen’s innovative creativity will make your dream a reality. She also works diligently to make sure your wedding flowers are just the way you want them.
Stephanie McBride – Wedding Administration and Customer Service
Stephanie is new to flowers but not new to weddings. With 15 years of wedding planning experience, she loves all things bridal and all things people! Stephanie considers herself a true sanguine. You can find her conversing with brides, waiting on shop customers or helping out with our social media accounts. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, running (because she loves cooking), reading and spending time with her husband and 2 kiddos.
Jared Bennett – Floral Designer
Jared brings a varied array of experiences to the team here at bloom. He got his start in the floral industry in Anchorage, Alaska and then moved to Lynchburg to attend Liberty University. As a part of the wedding design team at bloom, he loves bringing ideas and inspiration to life in wedding and special event florals. Jared also enjoys being a part of local musical theater in the Lynchburg community, and in his spare time you might find him in the kitchen baking something yummy.
Christina Cangialosi – Floral Designer
Christina is not new to the industry with previous floral shop and greenhouse experience and she is expanding her knowledge daily. An eager and willing team player, she assists with all facets of design, including processing flowers, daily and event floral design and some website design. If you need assistance, just ask her, she’s happy to help.
Debbie Asbury- Customer Service and Gift Shop Designer
Debbie came to bloom with many years of design experience including owning her own interior design factory near her hometown of Sparta, Tennessee. Helping our customers on the phone or in person is Debbie’s specialty. In between assisting customers, you’ll find her flipping and rearranging our gift shop giving it a fresh, magazine-worthy look. When she’s not here to entertain the staff and customers of Doyle’s with her southern charm, she’s cooking, painting with watercolor, or being "soccer mom".
Our drivers take great care to get your delivery out in it’s best presentation. It’s not always easy out there on the road, but they do their best to deliver in all types of weather and work hard to see you, the customer, smile.
